'The Camp' Animated documentary Short Film (9 minutes)

I wanted people to know how I felt about the Camp, what it meant to me and my family, and what it was like to grow up there. The film is first and foremost a personal response to my childhood experiences and working in film and with music could bring it to life and convey the emotion in a different way to the book. The film contains animation, photography, original cine-film footage of the camp, interviews and a sound track. I feel honoured that 'The Camp' frequently elicits an emotional response from viewers and has gone onto be awarded 'Official Selection' status in both animation and animated documentary categories at film festivals in London, Paris, & Chicago.
